Belajar Bahasa Korea Dalam Bahasa Melayu

The title means - 'Learn Korean language in Malay'.

Introduction

Since I have a chance to learn korean language in formal way - I took Korean language course in my university - I would like to share it with other fellow friends who wants to learn the language too.

Every language courses in my university are divided into three (3) level. I already passed the level one (1) and next semester I will continue with level two (2). My Korean language teacher is Korean people. She had stayed in this country for almost three years I guess. Very nice and very friendly.

*****

Even though I learned the language in English, my English is not good enough to explain in details about grammar and language terms. So, I write the tutorial in Malay but I'll use English as well as much as I can. Hope you don't mind and I'll try my best to answer your question (if any). Hehehe

Oh,before I forget, because I still in beginner level, I have to learn the honorific sentence first. So, you might find it different from Korean drama or informal daily life conversation. The informal sentence structure will only be taught in level three in the course.

Before we begin, I want to show you how to adjust the computer keyboard setting so you can type in Korean alphabet.

Update: For anyone who use Win7, it'll be a little tricky to change the setting. This tutorial is using Windows Vista actually. I'm really sorry about that.

Window Vista Screenshots

1. Click the Windows logo button and search 'language' in the search box.

2. Choose 'Change keyboard or other input methods'.

 3. Now, you are at 'Keyboard and Language' tab. Choose 'Change keyboards...'

4. Choose 'Add' and find Korean in the list displayed. Click OK. Then 'Apply'.

FINISH!

If you want to change your keyboard language while writing, the shortcut is press Shift + left Alt.
To change from roman alphabet to korean alphabet, press right Alt.

Normally, Korean language is already installed in your windows. If you can view korean alphabet in your browser or computer, so that's fine. If not, I suggest you try to find Korean Language Pack from your OS site.

In the first lesson we will cover Korean alphabet or known as 한글 (hangeul). Korean language in Korean is 한국어 (hangukgeo).

Basically, korean alphabet or 한글 has 19 consonants and 22 vowels. That's enough for intro I guess. Hehehe. See you next time.
