Seoul, South Korea Trip #10: Namsan Tower
From Namsan-gol Hanok Village, we took a green bus number 02 ride to Namsan Tower and it cost around 500 won.
I'm impressed with the bus performance while going up on the hill with full passengers. Have to say that their public transport is very well maintained.

Seoul, South Korea Trip #9: Namsan-gol Hanok Village
Namsan-gol Hanok Village.
This place is just 2 blocks from our hostel. So, we just walk about 15 minutes to get it here.
No fee was charged for entering the village. We went there on Friday and there were lot of students there. Well, since I came to Korea, I always saw students here and there so I got a bit confuse about their school time. Haha.

Seoul, South Korea Trip #8: After Getting Back from HongMina Cafe
After getting back from HongMina cafe (the exact name of the cafe is Foresta), we stopped at near Hapjeong station.
If you're Bigbang/ 2NE1/ PSY/ Winners fans, you can walk to YG building from this station. I didn't go because it's so awkward just to stand and take picture from outside of the building.

Seoul, South Korea Trip #7: Visiting HongMina's Cafe
Hehehe. I'm one of happy fan. Well, as a fan, I couldn't resist to visit every filming locations. Okay, if cannot go to all the places, I should go to the most meaningful place of all, for example, their first date location.
We went to Paju on our third day in Seoul. Yep, we plan to cover places that are far from Seoul, then, after that, we will walk around Seoul.
From Euljiro Station (the nearest subway station from our hostel), it took around 2 hours (almost 50km) to Paju or to be exact Heyri Art Village. Total fare to the place is KRW2,700.

Seoul, South Korea Trip #6: The Garden of Morning Calm, Petite France and Nami Island
On the next day, we woke up early in the morning to go to Cheongpyeong Station.
Why Cheongpyeong Station?
We plan to go to Petite France and Nami Island by taking Gapyeong Shuttle Bus. The hop on hop off bus stop at Cheongpyeong Station before go to Petite France.
How to go to Cheongpyeong Station?
From our guesthouse, we took subway from Euljiro 3-ga Line 2 to go there. We had to change the train two times, at Wangshimni Station and at Sangbong Station. The ride cost us KRW1,750 (T-Money) and took about 1 hour 20 minutes to arrive at Cheongpyeong Station.

Seoul, South Korea Trip #5: Grilled Fish Restaurant in Sinchon
| Packed with people. |
The restaurant name is Gosami (고삼이). The main dish here is grilled fish.
We order one big grilled Spanish Mackerel (KRW8,500). It is the most expensive grilled fish over there. And we ordered another dish, Spicy Squid (KRW6,500) or in Malaysia we called it Sambal Sotong.

| Cross this road and there you see, Myeongdong is in front of you. |
This is another post about my trip to Seoul last October. This is the fourth post but my first day story isn't finish yet. Can you believe that?
My friends and I check in around 12pm. We arrived earlier than that actually. It's just because we need to wait for some time for them to clean up our room.
We unpacked our bags, ate brunch, and sleep.
In our itinerary, we should go to Itaewon after checked in and rest a bit because it's Hari Raya Haji (Eid al-Adha). We want to go to the central mosque to join muslim in Korea celebrating the day.

Seoul, South Korea Trip #3: Girls Generation Hostel (Part 2)
Hello handsome men and beautiful women.
Let me continue my Seoul, South Korea trip story. Today I will introduce you to Girls Generation Hostel (GG Hostel) - we stayed here for 8 days. I will let you know why later.
The hostel is located near Eullijro 3-ga subway station. Near police station too. We're talking about safety here, girls. Haha. Even though I think Seoul is pretty safe if you want to go there alone.
The owner, Mr. Kang is really helpful and kind. Until the day we check out, if we want something like universal travel adapter, he will gladly lend it to us. If you want only one adapter, expect to receive more than one.

Seoul, South Korea Trip #1: The Day
Finally! It's the day!
I feel very nervous on this day. The day my friends and I go to Seoul, South Korea.
I plan to go to airport at 6pm because my flight is at 1 o'clock in the morning. So, don't need to rush. But really, it's my mistake. The next day is Raya Haji in Malaysia. It's public holiday here. I should expect there will not many buses or taxis that time. Silly me.
I took taxi to the nearest train station. It cost me MYR6. Then, ride a train to Masjid Jamek and need to change to Kelana Jaya line train. From Masjid Jamek straight to KL Sentral station.

Planning A Trip To South Korea
One day, my friend asked me," Let's go to South Korea next year."
At that moment, I just said,"Yeah. Sure. Why not." without knowing any interesting places over there. I don't know where should I go and what kind of activity should I try.
So, I did what anyone else will do, I google-ed about it.
Here I list down several places that I should go (or try to go) within my 10 days trip :-
1. Lotte World (롯데월드)
2. Insadong
3. Myeongdong
4. Hongdae
5. Namdaemun Market
6. Gyeongbokgung Palace
7. Bukchon Hanok Village (북촌한옥마을)
8. Seoul Central Mosque
9. Cheonggyecheon Stream
10. Namsan Tower
11. Korea Folk Village
12. Han River Cruise
13. Nami Island
14. Petite France (쁘띠 프랑스)
15. Jeju
16. Busan
For now, I must go to Korea Folk Village (한국민속촌) to see Arang & The Magistrate filming scene and Trick Art Museum because of Heartstrings. Hehe.
While I'm searching on how to go to Jeju, I saw one familiar name - Pink Dolphin. Adam Couple! It's a ferry to go to Jeju from Mokpo ferry terminal.
Have you been to Korea before? Can you suggest me any interesting places to visit and activities I can do over there? :)
