Seoul, South Korea Trip #5: Grilled Fish Restaurant in Sinchon

Packed with people.
Note: This restaurant serves pork dishes.

The restaurant name is Gosami (고삼이). The main dish here is grilled fish.

We order one big grilled Spanish Mackerel (KRW8,500). It is the most expensive grilled fish over there. And we ordered another dish, Spicy Squid (KRW6,500) or in Malaysia we called it Sambal Sotong.

Grilled Spanish Mackerel
Spicy squid.

That price included rice for two people. There were three of us, thus KRW1,000 was charged for extra rice.

Side dishes.

Lettuce, Green chilli pepper and a bottle of cold tea.

In Korea, meal is served with side dishes and water. In this restaurant, they served us with cold tea. The taste is similar to hot tea that I drank before at Korean food stall in Food Court, Berjaya Times Square. The food stall's owner told me about that tea and its name but I forgot already.

We've been wandering around that area to find this restaurant for about 30 minutes to an hour or so. We asked few people over there but they didn't know about this restaurant.

This restaurant is in a place with small streets and packed with restaurants, karaoke and pub. Very lively place in the night.

Blue line is recommended way from Naver Map. The road we took that night is highlighted with red line.

Spent:
Grilled fish - KRW8,500
Spicy Squid - KRW6,500
Extra Rice - KRW1,000
2 cans of Coca Cola - KRW2,000
--------------------------
Total spent: KRW18,000 (RM54)
